Well - I brought home 3 new ducklings last night and I really like them - they are so stinking cute! I am thinking that one is a Lavender pied, but can you please let me know ......

The ducklings in the 4th picture down is a Beautiful, but odd color! I love it! He might be a Blue Fawn(or what I would call Lilac because he's a lighter version) but it could take a while for him to finish coloring in completely. The other 2 with him look like a Chocolate & a Blue Fawn.

I still want that last White & Black girl from your late July babies!!!

Thank you - so in the picture of the 3 new ones from the back - can you tell me from left to right what you would call them - cause I think the one that I "thought" was a lilac is what you are calling a blue fawn, but I just want to make sure.

I am hoping to start a page for my muscovies on my website as soon as I know who is a he and who is a she :) Thankfully - NO MORE are coming home unless we happen to hatch out a clutch, but I don't see that happening till next year!

I love watching them run!!! There are 10 2week olds - and the itty bitty black one is the "ring leader". They all follow that one everywhere. Then there is "goliath". That is what my husband named it. If another duck (or chicken) starts messing with the clutch, then this one stands on tiptoes and pecks back and chases the BIG bird!! It is hilarious!!! I just love it.

I was webcamming with my daughter overseas this morning and she wanted to see my animals. Well I was going to bring them in for her, and then was like nope - I took my laptop out there and she got to see them running around and everything - she LOVED it!

the ducks have finally all settled in and everyone is getting along great - thank goodness! The ducklings are loving getting out and running around during the day and know where they can get in and out of all the different areas. Soon they will not be able to fit through the fences.
