I would call her a blue fawn. Some places I've read that lilac and blue fawn are the same thing genetically, but pictures of blue fawns that I've seen are MUCH MUCH darker than my lilacs. If you want, you can go to my website and see pictures of my lilacs for comparison and see if yours look similar to mine or not.

They're all very pretty!

In the picture of the 3 new ones.... from left to right...."unknown color, Blue Fawn, Chocolate".

Caprice, I have some girls that all came from the same Blue Fawn hen & Chocolate drake, both colid colored. they hatched out all colored like Blue fawns but 2 feathered in WAY lighter, I only kept 1 of the real light girls but she is so light now that she looks like shes pied... she is one I would Definitely consider a Lilac instead of a Blue Fawn. I will have to get some new pictures of her soon, but her sisters are the darker Blue Fawn color.

Boo Hoo - I lost a duckling today. The little one got into the wading pool and drowned .... boooooo. It was one of my 3 week olds.......

That's terrible, I am so sorry

I had that happen before but since then, if i have babies out around the big ducks pools, I will put something in the pool that they can use as a step to get out of the water.
