My little Easter Egger is 42 weeks old and until February she had been laying regularly and daily for 3 months. This month she has laid 3 eggs in 14 days.. with a five day gap between two and then one today. She is eating well, and otherwise active and seemingly healthy. I have WAAAY more space than would be required for my 8 girls (enough for 20-30, I'm told.). They have a large run AND a fenced forested yard they get to forage in every day. Since the days are getting longer, this seems odd. Should I be concerned, or it this not uncommon. This is my first time raising chicks and I have no basis of comparison. The other girls have been consistent. Thank you.

Sometimes Easter Eggers because of their varied DNA can be sporadic layers unlike birds bred specifically for egg production.
Thank you. I had not been told this. I am glad there is nothing to be concerned about. 😃
