3 Peafowl showed up this morning...

Cool. Wonder if he is tracking them somehow, or are you just on a peafowl trail way?
Was he the classic blue color? Like this

Yes, he looked exactly like that! I got a pic of him dragging his tail down the road in my failed attempt at a good picture. It looks like a green branch in the road LOL. Yours is beautiful. So - the Male has the long beautiful tail feathers and the females don't???

Right!!?? The male did not come back. The three that came Sunday were here of and on all day, This one came and showed his colors and left. I always thought they were very pretty, but when I had to go get our young ladies from shaking in a corner... LOL what an adventure.

The peacocks are new to your birds so of course they are very scary.

They would take some getting used to.

That's true for a lot of bird species... females are usually a duller color so they are less visible while sitting on eggs and chicks.

I wish that was my peacock, but it was just a nice picture I googled. Same with the cardinals.

I guess we have weekend Peafowl. The three girls were on the roof of the run this morning. All the young ladies were hiding and crying in the Hen House. The babies have been moved outside in the run. They were hiding in a corner crying too. The three Peafowl were on the roof of the run.

Cool. They are probably looking for a handout. Feeding them might keep them around.
The sure look petrified of that owl you have on the roof.
