I checked. I believe that would fall under "v shaped comb with sprigs" which is a DQ.

What is he, a silver laced? Have you compared him to the breed standard? He looks way too leaky in colour in the crest, but I can't see much of him.

Yes he is a silver lace, that's his only downfall, the rest of him is pretty good in comparison to what I have read for the breed standard.

Cut the "Sprig" off maybe?

I'd still show the bird and let the judges decide. DQ is what it is. I'd let them decide and have fun with no expectations other than maybe posting back here to inform the rest of us.
