I've recently discovered that I have in fact 3 cockerels, all silkies. I've heard that becuase silkies are particulary docile more than 1 rooster is allowed, but what about 3?

A flock can consist of multiple roosters regardless of breed. If they have been raised together, it helps for harmony but as long as the lower roosters recognize the head rooster (all comes down to pecking order in the end), usually there isn't much of a problem with multiple roosters co-existing together. Right now I have 4 roosters that crow and another couple that are about 12 weeks old and will be crowing in the near future. Everyone gets long fine.

It would also help if you have enough hens. I now have about 7 roosters, but I also have about 40 hens, so they get along and the hens don't get harassed too much.

Yes...make sure you have enough hens with the males so a few girls dont get overmated

Ooops....yes, sorry, I should have mentioned that part too.

That ratio really is a little too high. For that number of pullets you really would only need 1 roo. Perhaps choose the one you like best and rehome the other two?

i have 1 roo to 3 hens and my roos dont over work anyone and my fertility is good as well since i do hatch out an i am currently trying to get more pullets for my remaining roos.

One roo to 3 pullets is fine if they are separated out as such in a pen..3 roos being housed together could very easily choose the same few girls to mate and really tear them up;(... I too agree...if your keeping them all together...1 roo only...if you want two roos give them each 3 hens separated in two pens...
