3 Silkie-Mix - NC - Suspected Rooster (3 week old chicks) - In Need of Rehomimg

Are you sure they're cockerels? Do you have photos?
Post pictures?
All 3 + Possible Parents

All of my chickens are silkies and silkie mixes of varying degrees.
I have a full silkie roo and a full silkie hen.
I have a half silkie and half sablepoot roo.
I have a roo that is one quarter silkie, one quarter OEGB, and half sablepoot.
And finally, I have a hen that is supposed to be half silkie but her silkie dad must have been hatchery quality because she lacks a crest.

Here are their DNA test results -- $12 on IQ Bird Testing. I did it to be sure because I wanted to keep them all, but since I already have 3 roosters I couldn't :(

I DNA tested them, so they are, but silkie mixes are hard to sex I have heard
All my silkie mixes have been easy to sex.

I said they look like pullets, didn't say they were.

Yes, DNA sexing is accurate, but I never use it.

Yeah it's expensive if you have more than just a couple chicks. They definitely are indistinguishable from the females. I have had a really difficult time sexing my silkie mixes, but maybe that's just because of the type of mix and the fact that they are all bantams

I have both Bantam, & Largefowl silkies. Currently working on Giant Silkies.

Yes, one reason I don't use DNA testing is because it can be expensive.

I'd love to see a giant silkie! haha

Personally, I felt like I had no choice, because I don't want to get attached to them then have to give them up :/ Had planned on being okay with more cockerels, so it wasn't initially an issue

I temporarily started staying at my parents' house while we move states, and then their HOA told us we had to get rid of roosters (which I would not do), so we moved all the chickens down the road to a friend's place, but now they cannot free range anymore and will be stuck in a run, which suddenly makes the concept of more roosters being added in more challenging.

The 3 I already have were raised together and get along great like a little gang haha

Hope you have luck finding homes for your extras.
Are you planning to move too the country?

Lots of people want Giant Silkies apparently, actually.
