Ear color? wow, who would have thunk?

So I can determine what color my new girls will lay when they start the squat....I used to think it was defensive, but I am glad it is not. I got worried. Thanks!
Ok, so easter eggers are supposed to pay blueish greenish eggs. So they may be brown or white? so much to learn!

A different chicken laid the 2nd egg. Angel, the Delaware, just laid a lovely little brown egg for me.

Got the 3rd egg today from Lily, the EE.

So far 3 layers -- 1 white (2 eggs) from Scout the Golden Campine, 1 brown from Angel the Delaware, and then today a little green egg from Lily, the EE. I'm so glad she is laying green eggs.

I also think it is very cool that I know who laid them. Now to get the other 4 on track.
