3 Teenage Roosters ! So many issues ! :0

I have 3 mixed roosters almost 1 year old now. I hatched them out last summer along with 16 others and 2 turkeys. They are the nicest things ever until lately. When they were small I would hold all of the bitties about everyday, take them out of the brooder and "play" with them and whatnot. To this day the hens are very nice, allowing me to pick them up and stuff. I guess the roo's are just going through a "stage" ? I have the hens in a fenced in area with shelter and nest boxes (although they arent laying just yet) but the three roosters are roaming around the yard and pen as they like. They "fight" often but I have not seen any signs of physical damage. Everytime i walk out there they are chasing each other, but at night they right next to each other huddled up on the roost (all 3). I find it interesting that they cant be near each other at all during the day but at night they wanna snuggle

any explanations ? Thanks !

They also crow throughout the day ! hardly ever stop !

Do they get to be with the hens or are you just teasing them?
Boys fight, men fight, but as long as there is no physical damage and you are ok with the crowing, you can keep them.

I had 7 roos a few months ago. All came from the same batch. They were very friendly and nice. Until they reached the same stage as yours. Then they turned into teenagers. To me it seems like roosters act similar to human teens. And since they are in the teenage stage they are hyper and rebelious. Mine "fought" all the time. It was mostly just trying to show off. And they would crow all the time to. This was just cause they were trying to get the hens to pay attention to them. So it might be the same with yours if they can see the hens they are probably trying to show off for them. The biggest baddest roo wins the hens.

Dont worry. Deppending on the breed, in about 6 months they will be over it. At least thats all it took for mine. They were buff orpington.
