3 week chicks, what breed?

    We just picked up these guys. They're supossed to be pure Chanteclers but I'm dissapointed to see the rooster and one hen appears to have grey feathers mixed in :( we were hoping to contribute to the conservation of this breed! [​IMG]

    I don't think any of the chicks are purebred Chanteclers. Not only do they have some black feathers, but all of them appear to have single combs. Chanteclers should have small cushion combs.

    They may be another white breed, like the White Rock, or a mix.

    Not Chanteclers. Chanteclers should have a cushion comb, whereas these have single combs. They are likely White Rock mixes.
