I have noticed that some of you are looking at feather pattern. Can you tell me anything? Roo/Hen?

It's too early to tell. Some people sex on feather color but in my experience that only works 50% of the time

At 5 weeks you will be able to tell.

Sexing most EE's by color works about 95% of the time, however, your chick isn't feathered out enough to say.

Ah, Thanks anyway! Any thoughts on this one- I bought it from the feed store at least 4 days earlier.... It seems to have more feathering going on

I have no idea about how to color sex them..... but for fun I am going with #1 roo, #2 pullet
