I'll guess that the first is a cockerel (based on how much white in the feathers), the third is a cockerel (based on comb size), and the other two are pullets.

But that's a guess, so don't be surprised if I'm wrong :)

It should be much easier to tell once they're a few weeks older. Of course, with only four chicks, there's a chance they're all the same gender--which would make it MUCH harder to tell! (Because having at least one of each gender makes it easier to compare and see the differences.)

Thankyou! They change all the the time still so I guess I'll have to wait! They are four of the eight I hatched and became curious when I saw the other four earlier this week and some of their wings were very white compared to any of mine.

It works better if you start a new thread for your question--avoids confusion. (Some people just post a one-word opinion: "cockerel" or "pullet," and then you're left wondering which picture of whose chick they mean!)
Oh okay, figured someone could “quote” my reply as you did, directly answering me so I would know they were writing on behalf of my post.
I will post somewhere else
thank you

First and third look like cockrels, last pic is definitely a hen. Not sure on the second one. Hope I helped :)
