3 week old BCM, can you tell the sex?

Noted. :D
OP's bird has a marginally bigger comb, and does have wattles - I had to squint to notice them.

There's definitely always some pullets that like terrifying us with a huge comb early on, but I doubt this one is female.
It's absolutely not impossible.
What, why do they kill males? If they kill males the sperm cant fertilize eggs tho.
Many reasons, which would cause the thread to be hijacked.

I'm soft, and I keep my lads if I can, but the fact is that the healthy ratio of hens to cocks means that less cockerels are needed than hens.

Do you really think they don't keep breeding stock?
Yes, they kill the males. Not for no reason. They can't sell them.
And they keep some of each sex to hatch more eggs.
There are chickens, both genders, all over the earth.
A single rooster can fertilize up to 15 hens by himself. And more if you rotate hens.

It could be a male, but i also do not see wattles yet. The good thing i've found about marans is that you can sex them early. By 2 1/2 weeks i knew one of mine was a boy. Overnight comb and wattles grew.

Here he is at 2 1/2 weeks old. You can see the wattles along with the comb. He was also already starting to get some color to it while his sister's is still smaller and darker.
