Hi guys,
I have a little 3 week old that I hatched, was doing fine until about 3 days ago when she suddenly stopped walking. Legs would move, and she'd try to stand, but would fall backwards like she couldn't get her feet underneath her. She would kick and kick, but couldn't stand. If I held her up, she would eat and drink and was chirping - just couldn't ambulate.
She's grown weaker, and now I'm just trying to keep sugar water and vitamins in her. It's not spraddle leg or wryneck, and I hoped that someone might be able to give me some ideas. I don't know if she's going to pull through. She was perfectly fine - my first thought was that she got smooshed by the other chicks. Her tendons seem intact and pliable. Thoughts?
Thanks!
