Hi All,
Just expanding my flock, I am new to all things chicken. I just brought home 6 Partridge Rock chicks, born 5/20 from Mt. Healthy in Ohio, but purchased here in NY. One of the 6 has a bare bottom which looks a tad irritated, and she has some whitish diarrhea. She eats and digs in the pine bedding, as well as drinks water. She is not lethargic. Also, I have not observed any of the chicks peck her, and shes probably the largest of them anyhow. I tried doing research online, but found answers ranging from give her yogurt, to the Feds coming in and wiping out my flock. Does anyone have any idea whats going on? I have them in a cage, I didn't bother isolating her as a friend experienced with chicks said the others were already exposed, and I dont have another heat lamp. Please Help!
