3 week old chick

Wow, he has gotten so much darker! :)
I like the name.
I think he/she might be a pullet, I mean his/her comb isn't big at all.
I really hope that they are both pullets, both of mine are roosters but it is ok as long as yours are pullets because if they aren't it is going to be so hard to give them up... :/
At least I can keep all of my rosters. :)

are you talking about my chicken?

Blt79 your chick is looking lovely. The comb isn't much different in size to my little ones. However, yours has a much lighter coloured comb and no obvious wattles. Its looking like a pullet to me at the moment.

I love you littlechick12! haha! you are keeping the hope alive in me! everyone else tells me roo

oh aha, well i am no expert but if you can't see any wattles yet then i would say there is still hope. I've seen a few threads where someone s chick had a pinky comb like yours early and was a pullet. And people say that pullets can act like roos. After reading your earlier post i must say that i don't know anything about sexing a chick by its feathers, either colour or pattern. Some Roos develop slow signs, some pullets mature sooner. But, until you see some more obvious signs i would stay optimistic! :)
