3 week old chicks and ducks being out outside

Hello all! I am a first time chicken mama and have a question. I have eleven 3 week old baby chicks and 2 ducklings I have been keeping in my house since they were a day old. I got them all from Tractor Supply. Right now I have them in a large dog kennel wrapped with chicken wire and a brooder plate which they don't really use much. I live in Louisiana so daytime is between 70-80 degrees right now with nights in mid 60s. I have a 2 story chicken coop my husband built (older ducks use the bottom level). I am wondering if it would be ok to keep them in the kennel but put the whole kennel in the upper level of the coop. What do yall think?

I assume you can run the brooder plate out there if necessary? Asking as they're probably pretty close to not needing it with your temperatures (at least the chicks, I don't know anything about ducks) but just in case they do.
