We thought we got all pullets, but could this little cutie possibly be a cockerel?

Buttercup is 3 weeks old.

Are baby roosters ever called Roos? Or always cockerels? I'm new to this, so I have no idea, lol. ;-)
 
Properly, they are cockerels. Just as young female is not a hen, but a pullet.

Roos is a modern word used by the text gen. Please, say what you wish. Just don't go to a poultry show, or do 4H and use that kind of terminology. The great thing about 4H and junior showing is that part of the training is learning the lingo. It's all good.
