Well I bought a doz organic eggs from a store nearby, they were 3 weeks old by the time I got them in the bator. it's been 4 days and I'm starting to see veins. But the issue is I was outa town sence Friday so the eggs weren't turned Friday after noon- tonight. And i'm going back on vacation from tmw morning untill Thursday afternoon, so the eggs haven't and will not be turned for a while. Will they still hatch after this, there going to be turned normally starting Friday. How will this affect the chicks if they end up hatching?

Do you have any friends who might take your 'bator and tend the eggs while your gone? Or a neighbor you trust, who could turn them maybe 2 or 3 times a day?

If you can't find a way to have them turned in your absence, maybe the best thing to do would be to put them upright, small end down, in cartons. That way they will be less likely to stick to the shell, as they won't settle to one side.

Good luck, I hope they hatch ok. If not, maybe you could wait until you know you'll be around to tend them, to start another batch. Of course, unforeseen things are always a possibility. Was this vacation a surprise?
