Started outdoor Christmas display. Assembled a 'new' snowman and family and strung lights on the front porch.

Tomorrow we'll start opening the Advent Calendar. We get the big, flat kind that goes on the fridge. Each day we alternate who opens the little window and reads aloud the Bible passage it reveals. Low-key but we enjoy it.

That sounds like an awesome family tradition!!!!!

We have our first Christmas Casualty my little reindeer Zookie killed mr Gingerbread Man!!!!! I have to get the fence up around the tree tonight!!!! (Before they manage to get to a “priceless” ornament!!!!!)

Beautiful! I can't wait to put ours up. We're doing it earlier this year on the 15th.

I got all the decorations up over this past weekend. Hubby and son went hunting and I got busy inside. Deep cleaning, tree is up, outside nativity scene is up. We decided not to put lights on the house this year. Our house is a tall colonial and hubby didn't feel like getting the big ladder out. Can't say I blame him. The nativity scene lights up and I have small trees by the front door that light up. That's gonna have to be good enough

Headed to town tomorrow, I'm gonna get a ton of stuff for DIY's and make some pet stockings! I love Christmas.
