I have a motley crew, with 3 cochin bantams that are 32 weeks old, 1 EE that is 28 weeks old, and 6 mutts that are 22 weeks old. (the mutts are part barred rock, and polish, and other various breeds.) I know the 22 week olds are okay with not laying, and I hear that EEs can be slow, but one of my cochin bantams is still not laying. Her sisters are laying great! About 1 egg every other day. They are decent sized, too. But "Daisy" does not even look ready to lay. Her comb is smaller and not as red as the other two. What gives???
