Come on Babies!!!!

i am in the North GA mountains and was wondering how much are you going to ask for your Delawares?

Larry, this batch and the next batch are both sold, though in the second, there may be a few extras since I set more than the buyer wanted. My usual price on the Delawares and BBS Orps is $5/chick up to a dozen. If you buy more than a dozen, I lower the price to $4 each--that is, if they are picked up within a few days. If I have to hold them longer than a week, I add a few bucks to the total for extra electricity, feed and care. I prefer them to be picked up by 5 days old or so, however.

The next batch is due on November 10.

Watch it, Maxxie!

They are already on Day 5, the next batch, and I'm not keeping any of them, so there.

LOL.

There are still the 3 hatched, but now 12 pipped that we can see. That puts us just over halfway there, since there are 28 eggs in the bator.

There's not too much to take pics of yet. There are three in the brooder, plus two more chicks just burst out of their shells at the same time--synchronized zipping! There is another about to zip, too, plus all the other pips and probably a couple of pips I cant see after the first ones had a "chickie-bowling" session.

I have Silkies!! I have 10 babies total in the bator. 9 Silkies and 1 EE.

My EE was the first to pop out last night around 12am and the others through the night. I have several more that have pips and one more in the process of zipping.
