Good luck in rehab, g! The only advice I can give is to stay away from the yellow spandex though. It makes everyone look like a giant twinkie!

Once you know you have heart disease any chest pains scare you.

Glad to see you are feeling better and taking rehab. Some of my meds make me tired too, the doc said I should get used to them eventually though.

maplesky7 - Hope you are starting to feel more like yourself by now (I know it's still early in the recovery process).

I have a strange question so please humor me.... do you have creases in your ear lobes?

B. Saffles Farms - also very glad that you are fine (hope you're telling the truth;)). Same question for you... do you have creases in your ear lobes?

I am doing pretty good. Still some light chest pains. But after the heart cath they said it wasnt my heart this time. Just still sore from the cath. Honestly.
As far as the creases in my ear lobes, nope I dont. Are there susposed to be link between heart disease and creases in ear lobes?

Is there a link to heart disease and creases in earlobes?

Yes, actually there has been some excellent studies done on it. But, like many things, it's not an absolute. I had a medical student walk up to me, look at my ears and said, "Oh, you have creases in your ear lobes? You have a higher risk for heart problems!"

Google "creases in ear lobes" and see what you think. I'd like other's opinions on this - that's why I asked.

I had peripartum cardiomyopathy with congestive heart failure (look it up) when I was pregnant and they put me on 4 different heart meds. They make you feel HORRIBLE. I was SOOOO tired, and weak and I just hated it. But I guess it beats the alternative, huh!

I have tiny ears---no room for creases.

dac---you noticed.

bluey--who wears spandex anymore? That's so 80's. like shyah...

okiemama---you know it.

ods'ens farm, chevygirl beth...It has been such a blessing to have the love of everyone around me...never knew I meant that much to so many people and even people I never met who have reached out to me and my family....wow...just wow...God is amazing. I love Him...ain't no denyin it...I love Him, I love Him, I love Him.

Thanks for your prayers and support you crazy chicken folk.

I had another cardio rehab today...I over did it. I came home and slept a couple of hours and my body is sore and I have an unexplained bruise on my thigh...but they said I'd bruise easy because of the blood thinners. My youngest was there in the waiting room playing with her toys and waving and I kept telling myself, "There's your motivation."

It's hard to be in a room of granny's and grampy's and notice their pace is more than yours...although I'm fresh out of the hospital and all...it pushed me more. But I still think I over did it...my mom was impressed. I'm just not used to being physically limited...I always pushed myself but when I had kids, I didn't do the things I normally did---work outs and mountain biking and such. The good thing is my dr. says though I have permenant damage he expects me to strengthen my heart and have a full recovery. God I pray so...in Jesus's name for my children's sake I do pray and hope with all my being that that is so. Amen.

take care all,
hugs,
g
