I couldn't stand it another minute!

From the eggs from bamachicken I can see veins-

All of these have a big network of veins already! Must be some strong chicks coming!

8 from splash orp roo
1 from mottled orp roo

From the WV eggs I see veins but nothing like the veins in the eggs from BC.

10 blue orp eggs

This is very early yet and many of the eggs are hard to see even candling with a surefire. I'll candle again friday.

I moved 3 more eggs into the 'has veins' section. 1 more mottled orp egg and 2 from WV.

I'm thinking I'd like Buff Orps for the 2nd flock, w/a roo...after the geese are done w/the chicken coop and into their barn. Too much snow yet to move the barn and I can't wait to see those chicks...

Today is day 18. I have taken the eggs out of the turner and boosted the humidity. (I won't be home later in the evening so I am doing it now).

21 eggs from Julie - 10 clears, 3 bloodrings, 8 developing
Of the 8 - 1 mystery egg (not labled), 2 mottled orps (woot!), 5 eggs from splash roo

15 eggs from Jim - 4 clear, 11 developing
The 11 are blue orps

Ready, set ...
