As requested - it is very hard to see without the light directly on it but the camera can't photograph it with the light.

Interesting... I've never had one crack like that before with a pip.....

It was just a pip last night. When the pip was pushed out a little more it fractured along the line.

Oooh, here it comes!! It seems like it takes FOREVER for them to zip after this pip stage. I've got one the same stage at the moment. It will be fun to see which hatches first.

Out of 2 eggs I got 2 pips and 1 peep! OOOOOHH! The wait is aweful.

I'm anxious to be at this point with my own hatch, but I'm still only at days 12 and 5 with my staggered hatch;
52 are on Day 12 and 17 are on Day 5 and it seems like a long way to Day 21 for even the first batch. At least in a day or two, I can candle the second part of the eggs to see how many of those will still be in the running for the May 1 hatch. Hope a couple of yours come out to play soon, MissP!
