Joni's Polish are very hardy chickens. I ordered 1 dozen and she sent 14 I believe and 12 hatched, even with a couple spikes in the bator they made it just fine. Thank you Joni!

My Polish eggs are hatching now! Yay!

Edited to add: The chicks were not all Polish. There was a Silkie that I was pleased to find in the mix and 2 that appear to be SILKIE MIXES. They have furry legs and 5 toes, but not the black skin of a Silkie. I dated the eggs when I got them and these are the only ones that I got on that particular day, so I know they came from the so-called "Polish" eggs. There was also a brown egg that I asked her about right after I received them because Polish eggs are white. She said this one was a free Cochin egg. Well if these 4 were not Polish and I paid for a dozen Polish, I was ripped off. I got 15 eggs. One was cracked. So I got 14 uncracked eggs. At least 4 were not Polish, so I received 10 of the 12 Polish eggs that I paid for at the very most. Who knows how many of those that did not develop or those that died in the egg were not Polish chicks?
