It is out. I will have to wait till it dries to see if it belongs to Meg or Smokey. Now this little one can do the chearing to get the others out. Yippee!!!

Congrats! Karen is correct, Smoky is a lovely blue girl just like her sister, Dusty (who is broody on air at the moment). I cant wait to see what this baby looks like. Meg's little one I had here for a few days after hatch was adorable, colored very much like a Buff Brahma chick.

This morning 6:30 update - I am pretty sure it is Smokey's baby. Not 100% dry, but looks to be a all BLUE baby. Yes I said BLUE. No brown anywhere, but I will get a picture later.

A Skye and a BR egg have pipped over night.

3/12/2009 12:30 - I took a break and went and checked. One of the BR's is out. At least 2 more pips, but can not see real well because my window is a little foggy.

2 Hatched, 2 mor pips for sure.

We are Hatching now

So the 'M' Egg hatched - This is an all blue (Little white on chest) chick.
1 'BR' Egg hatched - Think is a Roo. Almost Dry.

1 'Skye' Egg just hatched - This is a blue or Black, too wet to tell.

1'unMarked' Egg litterally popped the top whil I was watching - Splash Chick

Big PIPS in the other Skye egg and another BR egg. but the BR egg is PIPPING down low.

1 BR and 2 BBS nothing yet, but Day #21 ends at 9:30 PM tonight. So I think there is plenty of time. I AM SOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!

Ed, you know I was concerned about this hatch after the fertility issues with the Orps, but I am thrilled that it's turning out this well. And a splash, too! Congrats!

1 'M', 2 'Skye', 1 'BR', 2 'B/B/S' have hatched.

1 BR pipping out the side. Still working on getting out, but making noise and definately breathing.

1 'B/B/S' and 1 'BR' not pipped, but when I pick them up, I can feel the chick moving around inside.

Keep them hatching!!!! PICS to Come soon!

Awesome! Those Orps are sometimes slowpokes, so I never count them out till after Day 22.
