Thanksis pretty birds
ok he might breed with a caumont
The Caumont is from the Calvados are of Lower Normandy, France. It is a rare breed with a comb similar to that of a Buttercup. Behind the comb is a small, backward-growing crest.
The minimum weight for roosters is 3 kg. (7 lb.) and for hens is 2.5 kg. (6 lb). Black is the only color this breed appears in.
YeahJohnn, do your chickens free range?
Ok i will next time i crack one open, they wont be as dark as they are in the summer when there is lots of insects etc but there should be some difference if your aren't free rangeWould you mind posting a picture of an egg yolk from one of your chickens? It doesn't have to be now, you can do it whenever. I want to compare free range eggs to my chickens' eggs.
