3rd Adopt an egg Hatch-a-long

Sounds like a busy hatching season for both you! I wish i could hatch..... but dont have the room, nor could i probabaly stop after one hatch

I can only keep like 8-9 chicks from all these hatches! so hard to decide who to keep. LOL and it is very hard to stop! Thankfully I hatch for someone else too so that helps since I don't keep any of those.

Ok so I took #10 and 20 and put them under my broody to see how she did with them since it has only been 2 weeks since she went broody. I am hoping to give her my chicks once they hatch but since I need to watch who came from what egg of those I couldn't give her those. so just picked 2 others at lockdown yesterday and gave them to her. Well peeked at them a bit ago to see how they were doing and they have BOTH pipped!!!!!! no incubator pips yet but hopefully soon (I don't even hear peeping coming from it yet. When I roll the other eggs I will candle and see if any have internal pips yet.

Oh and day 3 for my other eggs. Candled incubator ones and 5/6 show signs of life. Will check the ones under my broody once dark. Gave the 6 from the incubator to my broody to babysit while the incubator ones hatch. Lol
