Good luck on the call, but maybe Phoenix is better than CG...my box was clearly marked to call, but the mailguy delivered...when I told him what they were, he smiled and said "Let me know what happens." I want to know what you do with all those eggs you're cracking open to check fertility?

I finally am up to 3 a day...and noticed some ruffled back feathers...so maybe someone is getting the job going or done....the sillies also are all (Phoenix and barred rocks)singing the egg song when one is laying, I stood out there today and there was a chorus with only one in position, as I would hear the ruckus and go check who was doing what (still waiting for the blessed EE's to lay me a blue), now excited about the shipped silkies and huge dark marans eggs going into lockdown on Sunday, but going to be cracking some eggs tomorrow for breakfast to check on the business or lack of

13 + 11 = 24 days to set and 45 days to hatch. But who is counting????

Eggs are in Phoenix. Who knows if they'll call for me to pick them up.

I'm definitely in on the hatch, just don't know yet what I'll be hatching. I'm going to buy eggs plus maybe throw in a few mutt eggs. Not going to do the swap (although I wanted to), as my eggs are hit and miss on fertility from my spot checks done this week. Have one adult roo to 40+ hens and the poor boy has to rest sometime.

I'll update when I figure out what I am setting!

Somebody remind me 10days before the set date so I can start collecting eggs to hatch . Hatching is going well, chicks popping out like popcorn! :-D

MAHONRI- Eggs are set and water is in the bator. I am not going to get them rocking and rolling on Monday or so. I want them to set for a bit.
