Just got my box of eggs from BHep. Boxx looked great, but you know the PO! I hope some of what's left of the Buttons hatch. They're so cute, but only 8 aren't completely crushed. One green egg had to have a date with a little wax, so I have 9 eggs of all colors intact on the outside at least. My light won't turn out! Stupid thing!

My only girl left laying was my EE and haven't seen an egg in 4 days, so a total of 11 chicken and 8 quail eggs right now. I may visit TJs too. Just depends on funds.

OK I shall be week 3. I'm going to pirate a class from the Paint Horse and Appaloosa shows and go with "Most Colorful Rooster" it is entirely subjective of course

1. The picture must be a rooster in his natural plumage (no photoshop or dye job

2. The subject does not have to be yours, but the photo must have been taken by you.
3. You may enter only 1 rooster but may include up to 3 pictures of the same bird in order show all his features.
4. Post the picture(s) on this thread and send it to me in a PM
5. The contest will run from December 25 - December 31.
6. I will announce the winner on New Years Day and the winner will receive a 6 month GFM.

This is my first time doing this, so did I forget anything?

Anyone else for a contest? We still have a very lovely donation from Bargain for a dozen of her eggs. I was throwing around the idea of the biggest loser contest for that one... worst hatch rate for those who set >12 eggs... ? Thoughts?

I got some of Bargain's eggs and hatched Thanksgiving...got some cute little silkies feathering out and a splash marans that is so giant with those little ones

Thinking need more marans...
