Good morning all you hatchers! I was talking to DH yesterday. Egg production is slowly starting to pick up again. I think part of my problem has been too many cockerels going through their teenager times. I told him that the boys are starting to behave like gentlemen and that is probably why we are starting to get a few more eggs. I also said that I can probably guarantee that every single egg is fertile. He then looks at me and says "you should try and hatch some."

I said back to him "why the heck didn't you say that a couple of days ago!?" Oh well, I will be joining the Easter hatch to see what my designer mutt chicks will look like. In the mean time, I have to start deciding which of the boys get to stay. I wound up with two nice looking lavender AM's and one really nice black AM roos out of Crystal Creek's eggs from this year's Easter hatch. I am keeping the black and one of the lavender ones. Just have to decide wich of the two gets to stay.

That was precisely my schedule, however on Central time. My Thing 1 got sick, and has burst into tears and gone back to bed. I hadn't an ill child while awake all night, but now I'm laden.

Being 15 and ill is unfortunate. Work ethic makes her want to go to school, but she's a mess.

Last week it was the 14 y/o. She was a wreck all week. I hope this one isn't, because pre-calc finals and AP Chem tests are coming up. That will be horrible to catch up on.

*sigh*

Waiting for pips!!

What made me think after the last 2 that there would be enough hours in the day, to catch up with this thread?

I thought it was 95 (Mahonri) + 36 (Laree) and 36 (Meg) for 167 total, and my guess reflects that total. The "Meg will get that many tomorrow" confused me.

I was just about to post about it when I saw this... I was about to say, if he has 167 hatch out of 95 eggs, I want to know how many double yolkers he has and how long it took to help them all hatch!!!
