Okay. Does the float test work on eggs before lockdown? And, if so, how early and how reliable?

I did a quick air cell check on the eggs with the Cool-Lite yesterday. Chucked 4 Salmon Faverolles. I have 7 Marans that I cannot tell a darn thing with and will try to get a bit more definitive on the 21st at the 10 day candling. They've all been relegated to the last row of the incubator so I don't have to keep guessing which is which.

I'm seeing lots of good stuff (veins, well-defined air cells, twitching blobs).... and Token the hitchhiking TJ's egg is splendid! (Love those easy-to-read white shells)
