I'm collecting eggs for my swap buddies cold at night but spring like in the day and my OE's are starting up. All the eggs I've checked so far have been fertile and my grand kids are not happy that they can't eat those ones they like those dark eggs the best then they like the turkey eggs but I haven't been getting enough of those to ship any.....I'm planning on having them go out Tuesday most of the eggs will only be a day old so that they can rest. I will not be able to set mine until Monday I'm going to the NFR with my girlfriends lucky me as another friend has box tickets that they buy every year and they are not going so we'll be right down by the action Thurs, Fri and Sat night I can not wait it will be our first time not in the bloody nose seats.....

Doesn't it just make you want to scream in both excitement and frustration knowing that the Hatch will be starting soon?

New at shipping here....How many days does it take for the eggs to get to their destination? I was planning on shipping on Wednesday...but if that's too late, I can ship tomorrow.

On average 3 days to their destination. I plan to ship on Tuesday. My hens are not laying.

But Hillbilly Hen has let me have some of her eggs so I can ship them.

So I'd better send it tomorrow. Should I send the tracking # to the person receiving the eggs or let it continue to be a mystery? Sorry about all the Qs. I just don't wanna screw this up.

I know when my PO sends stuff out on the trucks so I try to make it in there just before they ship them out. Normally it takes not more than 2 days unless they get lost my eggs will be only 2 days old so I'm sending them out Tuesday afternoon and they can rest I've had the best luck resting eggs at least 24-36 hrs before I set them and I've had a 80% one when I forgot and let them wait 48 hrs so fresh eggs are the main thing so they can wait for Sunday

I have a POBox in town and don't go there everyday so tracking is nice then if something goes wrong they can try to find it.
