3rd Annual NYD Hatch "Designer" Egg Swap Thread

I didn't see anybody post stating No Reptiles.

Some of my eggs have never been sent before so even if you have gotten eggs from me before you still may not recognize them.

K...tatts, piercings... I am way too old for this...reptiles the grand would love... I am shipping tomorrow, and not putting fragile or anything on it...maybe let the kiddo draw pics....Can't wait until morning to grab the end and send away

lol I'd love some reptile eggs. FYI: You don't turn reptile eggs like you do bird eggs...it'll kill the embryo. Incubation temp for python eggs is 90 degrees and colubrid eggs is around 80-85 degrees....I've hatched both.

(double checks spreadsheet to see who 9catsz is sending to... just in case)

LOL....Incubation time for python eggs is around 60 days and colubrids around 55-60 days......60 days if you incubated at 80 degrees and around 55 days if you incubated at 85 degrees....too late for the NYD hatch......not to mention the fact that pythons start breeding around February-March and they lay eggs once a year around April-May. Colubrids are hibernating now and they will begin breeding around April-May and start laying in June-July and can and will double clutch...so they can lay again around August-September. I'm sure ya'll are all saddened to know that there aren't any snake eggs available at this time of year.
