3rd Nest of the Season!

Love It ! This is great. But I draw the line at gold fish sweaters....that would just be silly!

Sorry for veering wildly off topic but I couldn't believe my eyes:
Knit Tortoise Cozies

Sorry again about the detour.

I for one love these kind of scenic detours, and I love the shark fin cozy! We need to incorporate a shark fin into our Peachick sweaters, because when you put feed down in a group of Peachicks it is like a "Feeding Frenzy".

Your right. He does! Well if we're going to dress our peachicks up in sweaters, lets not forget the all important hat! After all, we Northerners know that 40% of body heat is lost through the head...(or something like that anyway).

Perfect! And leg warmers, we need matching leg warmers. I know I saw a picture of a chicken wearing leg warmers, but I can't remember where it was.

Well, My silver hen is down to 2 eggs now. She started with 5 but 2 were clears so I pulled those. The remaining 3 were due to hatch Sat. or Sun., but when I went out this morning one egg was out from under her several feet away and broken.... there was yolk, and blood, I opened it the rest of the way and there was a white chick inside. Deceased of course, but obviously only days from hatching. She is setting inside the pen so it wasn't a predator, almost looks like she may have accidentally broken it herself. That leaves 2.

It's amazing how fast they grow. I saw KKB's picture this morning and it took me by surprise how big Nanu is.
