4.5-week olds stretching mouths open wide

Sounds like yawning to me. If they're hot, they open their mouths a little bit like they're panting. When ours pant, they also hold their wings slightly away from their bodies to help cool themselves.

I had a chick doing the same thing a few days back, opening its mouth wide open briefly from time to time? It stopped and today I only observed it once, not sure it is the same chick? They are not cowarding away from the light or basking under it, just milling around acting like 3-4 week old chicks? They seem happy, eating and drinking well? No clue???

Maybe they just ate something and need to reposition the crop contents? Sometimes my ducks do this for a few minutes. When they are hot, they pant more like dogs.
