So... I'm aware of the difficulties sexing but as a first timer, this one's got my eyebrow raised. Started off dominant, was darkest chick in a sea of yellow (maybe got misplaced), feathered first and started getting color to the "comb" within the last day or two. Any comments or sexing suggestions welcome!! Came from an "ameraucana" labeled brooder at tractor supply. Also pictured are the lighter ones from the same lot.

It's too early for pointed saddle and hackle feathers. But the big, red comb and the red patches on the wings mean that it's a boy.
Awesome! He's my favorite. Ate a little too much alfalfa hay one day and had to baby him along. Got quite attached. Let the naming begin! Thanks for the help!
