4 and a half weeks old female quail already trying to lay some egg???!!

yep no egg there is something like soft thread that hang from vent..she acted like she was about to lay an egg though even i heard the egg song

You might want to take a closer look at her. Make sure her vent is clean. The youngest I've seen lay is 5 and a half weeks, but that doesn't mean it's impossible for them to start laying earlier. Just very rare.

everything is fine with her gladly..i wonder what attitude could that be🤔
