4 day old chick trouble with pooping

Sorry, busy couple days keeping up with her bottom is doing much better. She gets at least one bottom soak a day to get the pasty bottom off. Not really sure why it's affecting just her and not any of the others. I see her eating, drinking, sleeping, and now pooping. I did cut almost all of her fuzz off her bottom so it doesn't stick as much. She seems to almost seep out from time to time. I wonder if we will be dealing with this forever.

I guess I should be glad she is cute!

Awwwww, I'm glad she's doing better! Maybe it would help if you keep her separate from the others with one other chick to keep her company. Then she wouldn't get so messy. :)

She's not pooping solid(most the time) yet?
Cut out everything but chick feed and water.
Make sure her crop is emptying properly.

If she is still pasty, after you clean and dry her, you can put a small amount of vaseline/oil around the vent, this might help the poop from sticking so much to that fuzzy bum.

She does most of the time but it seems like she seeps in between her solid poops. That is what is getting her bottom pasty. I see her poop but it doesn't detach a lot of the time.

I have been massaging her crop a couple times a day to be sure it does empty.

I have been using oil and made sure she only has minimal fluff down there. Not sure what the next step is going to be

Is it seepage or is it cecal poop? They will poop solid, but also will have a brown stinky cecal poop as well. Do you feel there is a problem with her crop as well?

This is what she looked like this morning. She is definitely pooping solid so it could be cecal. I've removed almost all of her bottom fuzz. Just not sure what else to do. I'll have to keep food out tonight and monitor her crop in the morning.

Hmmmm...that does not look like a normal vent area, even given the trimming of downy feathers.
It looks like it is bulging quite a bit.

Can you locate the navel area?
Compare, by sight and feel, navel and vent to other chicks.
Could be a navel infection or the yolk sac did not ascend and/or abdominal muscles did not properly close leaving the intestines deformed, thus the difficulty in voiding.
