He sleeps most of the day. Cannot support his own weight. Falls over at every attempt to get up. First couple days he could walk fine then an inside happened and some of the other chicks got overheated and passed away. 9 other chicks are fine but this one is still having issues. He sleeps most of the day unless I give him water. When I give him water on his beak, he does a nursing motion while flexing his rectum at the same time so he's kinda flexing his whole body. Also when I put him down, he kinda just slumps ford not even trying to stop himself from falling. Could the overheating have any brain damage or could it be sprawled legs? What's wrong with my baby chicken?

Is he pooping at all? I had one who got weak and dehydrated, it took several days of hourly feeding sugar water and raw egg yolk thru a syringe before it perked up and began to eat chick starter mash on its own.

maybe she got dehydrated and/or constipated from the heat.

not pooping at all. But it also really hasn't been eating either

You need to get the chick hydrated. If it hasn't eaten or pooped in several hours it is likely dehydrated and unable to poop. Syringe a few drops of sugar water every 30 minutes to an hour to start for a day and see if that helps by bed time. Then start with watery egg yolk as often as you can. Then chick starter gruel mashed very thin until he starts eating and pooping again.
