4-day old icelandic chick with leg problem

Update on our little bird: She didn't make it.

She was giving it a good try, but I think one or more of the larger chicks harassed her pretty hard this morning. She had been chirping pretty loud so I went in to check on them. I found her laying on her side, no longer chirping, with two of the other chicks standing over her.

I picked her up to see if she was injured, but she was pretty non-responsive. Sadly, she died a few minutes later.

We're chalking this up as one of many lessons I'm sure we'll learn raising chicks.
