4 ducks 1 egg a day ??

Hahahaha that’s what I said ! It doesn’t fit in the crates I saved for collecting . Do you know if it matters if I pick them up right away or should I be sneaky about collecting the egg
Mabye it would deter them from laying in that spot... But mine are very comfortable around me and i take them when they are still steaming

@Miss Lydia do you take yours fresh from the hole?

It's still pretty early in spring, so production still isn't in high gear yet. The next couple months should bring the majority of them into laying. Only two of my four muscovy ducks are laying right now. Both girls lay huge eggs!

Here's some I blew out the other day.
On the left is a duck egg, the middle is from a standard chicken that just started laying and the one on the right is from a bantam chicken.

Muscovies are huge ducks! And usually lay large eggs. The drakes can be 15+ pounds. Ducks are closer to 10.

The silver one and the larger chocolate one are drakes. The other two are ducks. My boys are big!
