Ok - So ive posted various topics about my ducks and now that I am positive about genders I need help.

My mom's boss has offered to take some of my ducklings since she has moved into a new home and has a nice creek and land.

I have found that I have
4 males
4 females

out of my eight ducklings.

Originally i was going to keep the females and give her the males. But now my mom is saying that she isnt a big fan of all the eggs im collecting and that we dont have room when all the females start laying.

So Now I have to decide if I want to keep the four males or the four females, since my moms boss only wants one gender.

SO do I :

A) Give her the four male ducklings - keeping the four females and putting me = females - 8 , males - 3

B) Give her the four female ducklings , keeping the four males and putting me = Females = 4, males - 7

C) Give her my four female ducklings AND my 3 pure bred adult females. Giving me = Females - 1, Males 7 ( or even all my adult females? I love the ducklings, but not many people want ducks

If you have any other suggestions on how to handle this , id love to hear it!
If you are confused about the breeds and such - look at my sig.

Im guessing she doesnt want ducklings or her children to watch the males molest the females.

But what would I do with the eggs? Are mutt ducks popular enough that I could sell fertile eggs for others to incubate?

I thought about selling them to like oriental resturants but that seemed too much for us.

Im not sure who would buy them

I love mutt ducks, I'd take a mutt duck over a purebred anyday, just like a cat or dog.

I go with A too,

that way you could hatch and sell ducklings, alot of people around where I live have bought hatching eggs from me.

I guess ill keep all the females then

Now, Would anyone care to explain how to pack the eggs for shipping ( Food eggs and hatching eggs) ? Or should I post asking about that in another category
