4 legged chick Clover

Mmmm… how do i say this. I ordered 6 chicks from Cackle Hatchery, i was given 8! and one of them has 4 legs. I honestly don’t expect survival but it doesn’t seem to be in pain?? I’m not sure how I would tell… But I just don’t know what to do.

That's so odd! I'm rather glad the hatchery didn't just cull it themselves though...at least they tried to give it a fighting chance!

Also....I'd love to see photos to share with my kids who are learning about chickens as we wait for our new flock to come at the end of April.

If this is actually true, I have serious doubts that a hatchery like Cackle would send off a chick like that.
