4 month old Ameraucana....could it be a roo?

Thanks. The lack of the curved roo tail is throwing me off. I don't have much experience with roos.

I read that Blue Ameraucana roos can mature more slowly.

You're welcome. :) Yeah, he doesn't have a ton of curved feathers, but I can see just a few.

I'm not knowledgable on Ameraucanas, but I think I might've heard that before too.
 
At first I was thinking that he was a Pullet, as I examined the neck and tail feather's, it certainly look's like a cockerel. Lucky bug. I love Ameraucana's. The hen in my pic is named Mama and she is a sweet heart. <3 Friendly as all get out and smart too. She is in her second brood, I am hoping for more come spring time! Unfortunately all of Mama's male chicks were taken out by predators.

Or I would have 3 or 4 Ameraucana/Barred Rock Cockerels.

I am curious as to what your cockerel will look like when he get's all filled out. Please keep in touch!
