Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
With this springs birds, I had gotten 4 "americaunas"
The first two brown ones are obviously hens..(sorry about the blur)
The third I know is obviously a Roo based off the appearance, crowing, spurs, and mounting of hens..
The fourth I always assumed was a hen, based on the behavior, lack of crowing, lack of spurs, no waffles, small comb, and that the tail was never as large as the other rooster.
However, it has started occasionally mounting other hens(and even my silver laced rooster..) So now I'm rather confused.
