Some females have larger combs or wattles, but it really doesn't mean anything at this age. Especially since silkies are slow developing. If it were any other breed, then yes, there would be a good probability on it being a roo. You just don't want to assume so early, when it could very well be a pullet.I don't think it's that early. I can already see a large comb and decent wattles.
White silkies don't grow brown feathers.If he or she starts growing brown streamers, it’s definitely a boy. I would wait and check the streamer, waddle, and comb production.
