4 w.o. Splash Marans - is there any hope?

The Splash is a boy, he also has slow feather growth (chunky body first, feathers after). I've been encouraging the slow male feathering since we're dual purpose. The girls would have longer tails, while the males have hardly any tail, at that age. I've hatched at least 100 this year that I've grown out, those chunky boys really stand out right at 2-3 weeks.

Thanks everyone! To be clear, I am 100% that the two blues are males. I am only asking about whether there's any doubt about the splash, who I agree looks male, because I need to decide whether to give it away soon or wait longer.

My ladies had combs at that age. If it were me I would hold out hope a little longer.

I decided to keep it for another couple of weeks, so here is Captain Barnacles at 6.5 weeks. Still worth waiting and watching?
