So cute... pets recognize our car noises or garage door noises & start cackling before we're out of the car. I had a cat that knew what time I came home from work & she waited at the entrance to my cul-de-sac, saw my car, & ran home to greet me getting out of my car in the driveway. Yes, I love cats too

I had a cat who would run out to greet me in my car and jumped up on the hood to ride back the last 100 feet! The paint job on the hood got pretty bad, but it was great to see others' reactions.

We will see. He is in the middle of a growth spurt and has become very tall all of a sudden! He stretches his head up to the same level as his Mom - which is convenient for taking food from her beak!
She still treats him like a fragile little chick. Hilarious!

On the subject of Cookie’s ability to see, she appears to be able to see in the dark!

And I keep trying to get a head on look - this is the closest I have got so far. I don’t think a trim is urgent right now.

Only Cookie is not yet heavy enough to use the rat proof feeder properly. The other three are already total pros.

Lol, Cookie seeing in the dark! You sure she wasn’t just lost all evening wandering around looking for the roost, hahah!

She seems to see in front of and below her because her eye is visible. Doesn’t look great above or behind her. She sure doesn’t have the 300+ degrees. But I’m paranoid about aerial predators, if she sticks with the others they will be looking out.

LOL. No, she got up very, very early for breakfast.
